Hello, I'm new, well that's not strictly true as I've been receiving and reading the list for a few weeks now but this is my first contribution. There is one thing about PG that has always really puzzled me and as no one I know can even remember PG I hope someone on the list can help me figure it out. It goes like this. In Bad News, as somebody discussed this week, Spike tries to get Lynda to tell him she loves him at the end of the episode. But what I don't understand is why he finishes with her because she won't say the three little words. Okay, he's making a big declaration and probably feels a little let down by her reply, but come on, this is Lynda, one of the most unemotional people ever seen on television and she does say she cares and he means a lot to her and she is almost crying. I would say that it was pretty good going to get that out of her. But why did he walk out on her? I just don't understand how come that if he loved her he'd leave her just because she can't say it. Anyway, maybe its something really obvious I've missed but I'd really love to hear some other views. Barbara, who thinks Sarah should never have cut her hair and Julie must have been lying when she said she liked it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------" I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars.
