Chris Taplin writes >On Sunday 8:30 Gabriele Anwar will be appearing on Australian TV Network Ten in the movie Scent of a Woman. Right, I knew she was in the movie but I can't remember who she played because its been so long since I've seen that movie. Does she play Al Pacino's dance partner in that somewhat famous scene where he, as a blind man, is doing an incredible job of leading her across the dance floor in a tango. Or does she have some other role in it? Also, I dug up all the PG tapes I got (Thx Chris) for the first time in about eight months and started watching them again a couple of episodes from season one through season five when it truely dawned on me just how much of an evolution the show in fact went through from start to finish. It really is pretty stunning, although, the fact remains that I tend to like seasons one and two the best. I'm too tired right now to explain exactly why, but I guess its just because they are maybe more pure or innocent or whatever or maybe they're just better done than some of later episodes- I don't know........ If anybody cares to expand on this rationale it may make some sort of topic of discussion. I should look at the credits for this but I also find the music in the show to be really cool and appropriate for each of the given scences.....especially for the episode where Collin shows up in the rabbit suit. Oh, and of course in "Friends Like These" where they enlist the help of the lead singer of Madness. That was so cool I haven't seen that guy since 1983 - "Our House" In the middle of the street. ramble. ramble, ramble........... Now plz discuss. Well anyhow, bedtime for me Matt -- | T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T | | | | By default, replies will go back to this list, not to | | the author of the message you're replying to. | | | | To unsubscribe from this list, mail the word | | "unsubscribe" to "pressgang-request@yoyo.org". | |
