[pressgang] Nitpicky Little PG Facts

Dear PGers,

One thing I like to look for when watching TV programs is nitpicky little
things like script references, what's going on in the background, things
you have to use the slow motion on your VCR for etc.
A couple of things I noticed when watching some PG eps recently:

1. In "The Big Finish?" Tiddler tells Lynda she only has 1 week to tell
Spike she loves him, and that she owes it to everyone in the newsroom. She
says something like: "We've all been following this dopey little romance
since page one". Page One, of course, is the name of the first PG episode.

2. A couple of phone numbers for the Junior Gazette:
    The JG main line: (0721) 6931 from "The Big Hello" when Lynda writes it
                                     in Coles' phone book.
    Lynda's private line: 0815 868 540 from the same episode when Spike is
                                        phoning the Gazette from the restaurant.

Are these numbers the right format for British phone numbers?

Does anyone else have any more of these sort of tidbits of information?
