Hi,
I'm new to the list and thought I'd better contribute so I don't feel like
some kind of Peeping Tom reading your stuff.
I'm a big PG fan (obviously) but I'm missing some crucial eps on tape.
Like one of my all time favourites (is it For The Rest Of My Life?) when
Spike is trapped talking to that girl after the bomb blast. I love when
they say "I voel you". Why aren't they available on video it's sooo
ridiculous!!
Some other bits I love:
The incredible, almost unbearable tension in the first season episode when
Spike says he won't take Lynda's yellow and she asks Kenny for Sullivan's
home phone number. It still has the most amazing impact on me!
Also, in Breakfast at Czar's when Spike says "one kiss Lynda, one long
serious kiss and if we like it we're an item..." etc that whole dialogue is
fantastic. And then when Kenny comes out like he's looking for something
and then says "oh there it is" I just love it!
I love how Colin brings up the gunshot he took for them during the gun
siege. Does anyone else think those episodes are definitely two of the
best. Just the team with no distractions. Their wits and relationships
exposed.
I won't bore you much longer but just quickly, I didn't think the last
series was as good as the others. I don't know exactly what it was but it
was as if they were trying too hard with the relationship and not the
stories and as a result neither worked.
Anyway enough from me. I'm 18 and Victorian by the way.
