It's Colonel X in UnXpected; In the DW NAs, Professor X is revealed to be
the equivalent of Doctor Who in the universe where the Doctor is a real
person. I think it's in Paul Cornell's No Future where this is made very
clear (with Frankie Howerd having played the Professor, IIRC).

UnXpected is one of my favourite PG episodes. The detail that they went to
in creating the Colonel X series is brilliant (as ever with the series),
with the books, magazines and video covers. They auctioned one of the
Colonel X books at one of the Liverpool conventions. There's lots of great
dialogue, as ever, including a somewhat surprising line about Lynda and
nurses uniforms!
