sorry if i am repeating what you meant, but i can't remember the
episodes by their names, so i can't remember exactly what happened in
"the week and pizza"- was this when tiddler fought for the virginia hume
story?
anyway, with regard to tiddler and spike, i think she does have a bit of
a crush on him but realises he's too old and also is right for lynda.
aren't there people you've had crushes on but would never actually want
to go out with, they are just fun to flirt with?
anyway, i think she cares about what he thinks of her. i assume when you
mentioned tiddler's crush, you were referring to the part where spike
comments on tiddler's dress and lynda says "don't you think you ought to
be a bit nicer to someone who obviously has a crush on you?...i don't
mean me....i know you didn't say you meant me.....shut up spike!" [and i
love the bit where spike then says "i remember when lynda needed 2 for a
conversation" then sam: "i don't"]
anyway, in the virginia hume episode, tiddler is waiting around for
spike to go and see virginia hume with her and he keeps fobbing her off.
i think tiddler is annoyed because she values spike's
friendship/companionship and is a bit hurt that he doesn't seem to
return her admiration. i think this might indicate a small crush but
then again, it would be a bit hurtful with anyone you respected who
didn't seem to return the same sentiment.
sorry to have waffled, this is probably completely incoherent...
