I'm not sure how it works in Britain, but over here (States) it matters _where_
you're born, not who begat you. If Spike were born in the States, than he
is an American. If he were born in England, than I have no idea...I always
figured that Spike came back to chill with his friends a bit, eventually
hooked up with some chick (zoe, I don't think she deserves a capial letter),
than realized all was wrong, and went packing back to England to see his soul
mate.
