Actually I'm a Canadian living in America who was born in India but is in love
with England and hopes to move to Australia when I'm all grown up.
HI PG fans!
My name is Neenu and I joined the list sometime in December (if I remember
correctly) in 1997. Since them I've been reading the mail but for some reason
( I really don't have a good excuse) this is the first time I have ever
responded back to the list.
A recent topic has been how we al first got hooked to Press Gang. My
story is a little different then most. Basically, I enjoyed the show from
the very first time I saw it in Canada on TVOntario. Howver my first viewing
of it was very interrupted. I saw it again in England and fell in love again,
but we were only in England for a few days. I also saw it in India (about 4
episodes) when I was there visiting for the summer.
When I finally moved to the US I remember thinking about the show and writing
about what I could remember about it in my Scrap book. Then last year in
January I found PG on WAM, Movie Plex. I only saw every other episode and
become officially hooked. I started taping it but the episodes are so out of
order and I'm missing some of the best ever. WAM no longer shows PG but I
continue to watch the episodes I have, and I never get tired of them. I guess
the reason I love PG so much is that it is the one show that seems to have
followed me around from everywhere I have lived. It gives my life a sort of
unifying motif (sorry to throw in the English). I even dream about the
characters.
Anyways, for the last seven years PG has been my favorite show. Now I'm
17, and am so delighted to have found this mailing list. I just hope I can
keep up with the mail (there sure is a lot).
