Boy, the show really would have changed! I would trust that Mr Moffat would
do a good job, and not try to write in someone as a Spike incarnation. That
would be terrible! Maybe Lynda would become more in touch with her
sensitive side, and this would force her to realise she can't go through
life with a wall around. Although it could definitely make the walls a
little higher. She probably would have gone after the gunman with a
vengence. And if Spike wasn't incarnated, someone would have to come back
in his place, to take up room. But what sort of character would it be? Now
we've got *me* thinking, and it's *Saturday!*
