No, this list gives people a chance to talk about a television show. I am
certainly not one to complain about the odd drift into slightly-off topic
banter, but i think treatise on the national identity of member-countries of
the list is going a bit far. I think we all remember how popular the last
conversation on this matter was; or do we need to go through it again to
remember? The text of the original message (which I'll admit was way
off-topic) was not any kind of deliberate insult (or, indeed, an insult at
all to many of us) for which a post of this manner might be considered a
fair response.

Steve, take a chill pill. The statement was that it is the "popular
anthem". Personally, I loathe discussion of WM as becoming the *official*
anthem (which happens occasionally) but to say it's a national song (or
"popular anthem") is not a screaming-at offence. As for "insulting"...
