Hmmm, aren't we forgetting series five here - we haven't heard from Katherine Hill in a year (PG series-time) - and the Spike-Lynda relationship[ was much more stable in series five than series four. KH wasn't some relationship Grim Reaper, trying to end things out of spite - she just wanted to give her son some warning about women like her. I don't see her as someone who will go out of her way to ruin things - her son having spoiled relationships is just what she was trying to avoi (and ahe was smart/sensible enough about things to realise that she wouldn't improve her son's lot by taking matters into her own hands in trying to break things up (grim warning notwithstanding). > Oh yes, at some point in the "sixth" >season, one of the two will propose to the other.
