OK! I've decided I've had enough of people knocking TAC. What did some of you
guys expect from the final episode? Lynda to go through a "Sandy in Grease" like
transformation and end up in a tight leather get-up, before taking Spikes hand and
having them both dance around the newsroom singing "You're the one that I want"!?
And then what? Kenny can show up to walk Lynda up the isle as they get married and
indicate that now they'll live happily ever after! This is followed by the entire
cast linking arms and breaking into a chorus of "We go together" and they all waltz
off into the sunset.
Puh-lease! We all know that Press Gang is better than that. I loved the final
scene between Lynda and Spike - it was a perfect summary of their entire
relationship and the entire basis of the show. I agree that it lacked a lot of what
made us all fall in love with PG, but if was "a normal everyday" situation, we'd
all be complaining that it was too ordinary!
Ok, I'm done. NOW you can rip me to pieces...
Giulia, who is beginning to think it would've been really funny to see a Junior
Gazette Newsroom version of "Tell me more" after "At last dragon."
----------
All: "Tell me more! Tell me more!"
Frazz: "What was the capital of Saudi Arabia?"
(Colin flicks Frazz on the nose with a spoon.)
-Proudly brought to you by my wandering imagination.
