I'm on record on list as prefering Sarah and Kate to both Lynda and Sam,
so count me out of your little theory. I think it is interesting that
Sam and Lynda have a relationship not that unlike what Spike and Lynda
have, and it would have been interesting to see how Sam's character would
have developed had she been around for another season. Like Spike, Sam
and Lynda fight a lot, but Sam has a lot more in common with Lynda than
either would probably want to admit. I'm thinking a lot of FRIENDS LIKE
THESE, where the two collaborate on a hit piece that keeps Sarah from
leaving the Junior Gazette. And I'm thinking of one or two scenes of my
own, which you may read about one day soon....
