I was actually online when Andrew's post came through, and the mention
of "Lab" did make me wonder if he was directing the statements at me,
but I wasn't sure.
Firstly, one small thing - I wasn't the one who made that statement - I
may well have quoted it in a reply (if that is the case, I would suspect
that Steve said it, as the only one of these posts I have replied to is
his one on the weekend - but I don't have the posts in front of me).
Secondly, *please*, if you have a beef with something non-PG related
that someone mentions on-list, I am all for you having your little say
back to them. But it can be done off-list. I don't want to suggest
that Andrew is more guilty of this than others, and as he was posting in
relation to a similarly off-topic rant (I believe I have the authors
permission to describe it as such :) ), he can be forgiven for wanting
the same audience in reply.
Thirdly (dare I mention) Waltzing Matilda is not in Gaelic.
Fourthly: I always though Danny (played by Charlie Creed-Miles) was an
excellent character - does anyone know why C C-M left the series? (ie
did he start work on another show around the time he left PG?) While
his position was filled to some extent (his literal position,
photographer, was filled by Kevin; his characters niche was spread
between Frazz, Spike, and maybe even Kenny), his loss was notable.
