Hello all-
I was watching The Last Word the other day, and it suddenly came upon me, that
besides Kenny, whenever they get rid of a character (or pet, you know what
I mean) they always kill them off. Dennis Cooper, that spoiled rich kid (can't
remember the name) the drugee, the goldfish, Virginia Hume, all of those
people in "The Rest of My Life" (not the least of which is Mary Bryant),
Kenny's aunt (teehee), the list I think might stop there, but I'm not sure.
I just thought it strange that a children's show could deal with death so
many times over, without it having much of an impact on the day-to-day world
of the paper (exception Spoiled Rich Kid). I'd be happy to hear any comments
or whatnot!!!
